The fall is located really close to Caledonia falls in the Platres Community. The name of the falls, derives from the combination of two words. Millos and Meros. Millos in the Cypriot dialect means wet and Meros means place or location, therefore Millomeris means a wet location. The fall is getting famous lately because in the older days was inaccessible. After the opening of the road and the trail Millomeris waterfalls attracts many visitors. The fall is powered by the waters of Kryo Nero river, which is the same river that feeds Caledonia waterfalls.

There are three ways to get to the falls. By car, take the road to Platres through Moniatis and just before the village entrance take a left which is the road which is just before the falls. Park your car and walk for five minutes on the trail that leads to the falls. The other two ways require more walking. Again, by car, drive to Platres Athletic Centre and park there. There is a trail of 1.2 kilometres in length that ends at the falls. The third way is much quicker, but the road is steep and downhill. Right opposite the church at Pano Platres there’s a trail that ends to the falls. This trail requires extra caution, especially when the trail is wet and slippery.
